The Keys To Creating Success

If you join (or joined) a company or “business opportunity” because you saw somebody flash a big check, or a big wad of money spread all over the table, then that’s foolish. And it’s so “ghetto” to do something like that if you ever make a lot of money in a bizop.

You should NEVER join a company because some person earned a lot of money and posted it online. You should join the PERSON, and only because you see that a relationship with them would be beneficial for the both of you.

You should only join the person, or a company, because you believe in them, the products they promote, the company he or she represents, and the system they have for marketing. You should join that person because you see that they have the experience to teach and mentor you properly, and can provide you with the leadership needed to get you to “The Finish Line.”

But, most importantly, you should know within your OWN SELF that you BELIEVE in your OWN personal ability to create success. You should be able to see the relationship with that other person, and the business opportunity that they are presenting, as the “vehicle” to get you from Point A to Point B.

Many people ask me “How much money have you made with your business?” And I ask them, “How much money do YOU want to make?”

They usually can’t specify any particular amount, and some only say “a million dollars.”

Why stop at a million dollars? Why not go for 10, 50 or a hundred million? Why not go for a billion? Why not “scale up” and add to your revenue streams by going into “bigger ticket” enterprises like real estate development? Or oil and gas ventures? Or precious metals? Why stop with a million?

A million dollars is all too common nowadays. There are more millionaires today, even in bad economies, than there were a hundred years ago. Even billionaires are becoming all too common nowadays. Multi-billionaires are a rarity, but there are even several of those.

Earning lots of money takes talent, skill, persistence and never giving up. It also requires you to add to your knowledge base and skill set. Earning money — lots of money — cannot be done if you wish to remain “static” in your life. If you want to earn more money, then you will have to add components of value to your life that will be of value to others.

To become a good web developer, you have to learn certain skills in programming, managing a cpanel, coding WordPress pages, hosting a website, html, etc. If you want to sell your services to others, you have to produce some good examples for them to see that showcases your skills. Some of the best jobs I have ever had was because some of my former employers saw my work, they saw my “creations” and asked me to go to work for them. Some of the best jobs I’ve ever had were the ones I wasn’t looking for, but the ones where an employer asked me to go to work for them.

People who earn lots of money on the internet, do so only because they learned how to use the tools the internet provided. They make money because they know the internet is not a business, but only a medium of communications.

As in life, working for an employer in the offline world, in the “brick and mortar” arena, they treat every experience, good or bad, as an opportunity to learn. And really that’s the attitude to have for life in general.

If you can learn to leave behind the negative energy of the bad experiences you’ve had, and move forward with the knowledge you gain, you will succeed. Whether you learn those experiences as a waitress or waiter, as a dishwasher in a restaurant, as a landscaper, lawn mower, tree trimmer, or any other job capacity, you will come away with experiences and skills that you can apply to other jobs, and to other areas of your life.

Some people say, “I will do ANYTHING for a job!” But, will they? Some people will say, “I will do anything… except food service.” Or, “I only want to work 1st shift.” Well, sometimes you got to eat a little crow before you can have your steak. If you’re not willing to go through the learning process, then you’re going to find life to be very hard.

The world doesn’t OWE you a living. There is plenty to go around, and there is no “zero sum” when it comes to making money. All you have to do is go out there and work for it. Nobody puts any limits on the amount of money you can make but YOU.

How many times have you seen somebody give up at the one yard line? They were right there, about to make their breakthrough, and they gave up. All they had to do is give another “push” to get through the blockade, and they would have made the goal line.

Don’t be the person who gives up! Keep moving forward, keep active, keep positive and you WILL succeed.

If you put energy into a direction it will manifest what you are going after.

Just don’t stop until you have it.

Persistence and determination are the only two things you need. If it takes you all your life, like Colonel Sanders of KFC, when at the age of 6, became responsible for the feeding and taking care of his younger brother and sister, because his father had died, realized that he was now the one to “step up” and be the man in charge.

Beginning at the age of 10, he held down numerous jobs, including farmer, streetcar conductor, railroad fireman and insurance salesman. He had lots of failures in life, but he never gave up. His biggest success, as you may know, bears his name, Kentucky Fried Chicken, which is known all over the world.

Sanders lived over 90 years before he died in 1980. After he sold his company to investors, he became the spokesman for the KFC chain and you saw him in many of their commercials.

He persisted. He was determined. He did not retire. He worked until he died from a bout with leukemia. He never gave up. His legacy still remains to this day, even in faraway places like the Philippines, Europe and Asia.

If you want to make a lot of money, or if you only want to make a million dollars, sometimes you have to start at the bottom of the ladder and start climbing up. If you want to get to the top, you’re going to have to put out the effort to start climbing. If you’re not willing to put out the effort, then don’t complain because you’re still at the bottom of the ladder on the “ground floor” of your opportunity.

You have to persist. You must have determination. Otherwise, nobody else will want to “hitch up” to your train.

And that is really the keys to creating success…

I might add to those first two qualities, one more…

…LOVE.

Love what you do. Love the people you help. If you don’t make a lot of money, how can you be a blessing to others?

Don’t expect anything in return. As a matter of fact, many people will NOT love you. You will attract a lot of haters because of your love and success. But do it anyway.

Do it out of love. Be the exception to the rule. Be determined to succeed. Be persistent.
